WCI Brand – PILOT LADDERS MANUFACTURING

We are manufacturers of certified pilot & embarkation ladders, approved by Lloyd`s Register and MED. All our ladders are made according to the ISO 799, IMO resolution A.1045(27), IMO MSC/Circ. 1428 and SOLAS 74 convention as ammended, regulations V/23, X/3. Under these regulations, for the top of the ladders, one side is spliced and seizing in single rope and the other is 3 MTRs free for ship winches use.

Key Features:

· Designed for embarking or disembarking of pilots from the vessel

· Each wooden part is made of hardwood, free from knots. Our wood is not treated or coated with paint, varnish or other coatings, which either change the friction coefficient or hide the natural grain.

· Each side rope is mildew-resistant manila rope meeting ISO 1181:2004 and a breaking strength of at least 24 k. The specification of the diameter of side ropes is 20 mm (63 mm circumference).

· Each stainless steel part is of a marine grade alloy with a corrosion resistance at least equal to grade “4401-316-00I” in ISO 15510:2014.

· Each plastic material has a type that retains at least 30 % of its original tensile strength and at least 80 % of its original impact strength when subjected to the one-year outdoor weathering test described in Method A of ISO 877-2:2009.

· Each side of the ladder consists on a continuous loop of rope with the joint above the top step or below the bottom step.

· Bottom step has continuous rope at both sides.

· Each Wood Step has the following dimension: 525mm x 115mm x 28mm.

· Each Rubber Step has the following dimension: 525mm x 115mm x 28mm.

· Each Spreader (Prevention Step) has the following dimension: 1800mm x 115mm x 28mm.

WCI Mooring Ropes, was performed under our well-established factory in Korea, manufacturing 8 and 12 strands mooring ropes with mixed materials for ship’s security. With a range diameter from 40 mm to 80 mm with Lloyd´s Register, ABS approvals and MEG4, complying with the LDBF and TDBF of each vessel.

After performing the ropes, a detailed inspection for every product is mandatory to assure the best quality and durability on board.

Our WCI hatch cover tapes are manufactured to protect the metal hatch covers on carriage ships against leakage of water into the carriage area. Extreme weather conditions often damage hatch covers making them prone to leakage which may lead to the damage of goods being shipped. Operations

– Alkaline High WCI: Is a strong alkaline degreaser and powerful detergent that contains special sequestrants for removing of greases, grit grains and any organic residue.

– Tank Cleaner WCI: It is specially formulated for cleaning of tanks or for multipurpose degreasing. It contains emulsifying properties and is recommended to clean and degrease after mineral oils or petroleum.

– Sea Cleaner WCI: It’s a powerful cleaner and degreaser formulated for deep cleaning of oil bunker tanks, mineral oil tanks, decks, engine room and bilge, leaving them free of waste.

– Cement Remover WCI: It’s a strong acid-based deoxidizer inorganic corrosion inhibitors and penetrating agents, applied to remove cement and concrete of hard surfaces.

– Lime Remover WCI: It’s a highly concentrated cleaner for the removal of limescale and calcium deposits from metal surfaces.

– Pet Coke Remover WCI: It’s a heavy-duty detergent specially formulated to remove difficult pet coke from cargo tanks and cargo holds.
